Program:

Kim Ewoldson of Sauk Valley Community College will present the Impact Program. This is the College's new strategic plan which is working to address workforce development issues in the area including how the College can support recruiters, offer opportunities to recruit students on campus, and more.  This program will focus on the benefits of the Impact Program and how HR professionals can use it as an employee recruitment and retention tool.

Speaker Bio:

Kim Ewoldson is a native of Whiteside County.  She grew up in rural Lyndon where her family still farms.  Kim holds a Bachelor's degree in Ag Economics with a marketing emphasis and is also a certified business advisor through the Small Business Administration.  Ewoldson spent several years in Springfield in a variety of roles within the Governor's Office and Illinois Department of Agriculture ranging from local government to economic development, international trade, and federal legislation.  She also was the Executive Director of the Sauk Valley Area Chamber and was the City of Morrison's Economic Development Director prior to her role at SVCC.  At SVCC, she has served as the Director of Regional Economic Development and the Director of the SBDC and is currently the Executive Director of Donor Relations and Economic Development.  Her family also owns a retail ag business in rural Lyndon.  Ewoldson and her husband live in Morrison with their two kids.
