Our Summer Seminar is back and promises to be a great one!
Register by sending a email to rrhrpa@gmail.com with the subject line: Summer Seminar. Email should include name of attendees and company. A confirmation email will be sent back with amount owed.
Registration begins at 8:00am at SVCC. Payment will be taken at the door (cash, checks or credit cards accepted), or you may mail your registration payment check to us but it must be received by August 19th:

8:30am - 10:00am - Tim Zollinger, Partner, - Ward, Murray, Pace, & Johnson PC - "Employment Law Update"
Sterling Attorney Tim Zollinger will be present to provide an employment law update. During the presentation Tim will give an overview of each of these new Acts, offering guidance on how to be compliant and how to avoid pitfalls that can occur. It will be an interactive conversation and questions will be encouraged to help you better understand how employers are affected.
Tim's Bio:
Timothy B. Zollinger is a partner/ shareholder in the law firm of Ward, Murray, Pace, & Johnson P.C. He was licensed in Illinois to practice law in 1992 and is admitted to practice before courts in Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois, Central District of Illinois, and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. His primary practices areas include employment law, municipal law, and school law. He represents employers before the EEOC, Illinois Department of Human Rights, OSHA, the U.S. and Illinois Department of Labor, and before State / Federal courts. WMPJ has offices in Dixon & Sterling.

10:15am - 11:45am - Natalie Moeller - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - "How to Manage When Values Clash: Working Together Despite Beliefs"
Conflicts are inevitable in any workplace, but how they are handled can make a significant difference in maintaining civility. Attend this workshop and learn how to manage your own emotional responses to situations and how to respond effectively to different levels of conflict. The workshop will include tips that leaders can use to defuse emotionally charged conversations that arise from differences of opinion. Natalie's Bio:
Natalie J. Moeller, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has counseled children, adolescents and adults for nearly 30 years. Natalie graduated with her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Illinois State University with a major in Psychology. She then went on to earn her Master of Social Work Degree from George Williams College of Aurora University. Natalie has been licensed to practice Social Work since 1993. She provides individual, couple, and family counseling for a variety of issues. Her areas of expertise include: depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce/separation, parenting, children/adolescents, communication issues, stress management, grief & loss, alcohol and drug assessment & services. Natalie recognizes each client is a unique individual possessing their own strengths, so she provides a comprehensive and thorough clinical assessment to help determine the client or family's needs and more importantly- their strengths. Her counseling services come from a client-centered perspective and strength-based perspective. Natalie utilizes many therapy modalities such as Trauma-Informed, EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Polyvagal Theory & Play Therapy, just to name a few. Natalie is an Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, a Certified Practitioner of Traumatic Memories Protocol, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and specializes in Neuropsychotherapy; which brings together the research of neuroscience and known effective therapy modules. Natalie works to assist clients to identify their overall thought processes and change their negative thoughts and beliefs into more positive, motivating thoughts which will create the change the client desires.
