Today's program is entitled, Hiring and Firing: Doing It Right, presented by Attorney Carlos Avelos, of SmithAmundsen LLC.
We will be collecting gently-used and new office attire and accessories for the YWCA Upper First Avenue clothing boutique.
The YWCA of the Sauk Valley offers FREE career services. They help with resume writing, applying for jobs online, interview preparation, computer assistance, and financial literacy. Additionally, they have a FREE career boutique, Upper First Avenue, for women to help women make great 1st impressions when they interview and during their first week at a new job in an office. They accept all gently-used office attire. This includes jewelry, handbags, shoes, skirts, slacks, dresses, coats, shirts, blouses and more.
