We welcome back Kelly Hildebrand, Corporate Wellness Coordinator, from KSB Hospital in Dixon for an update on drug use/testing in the workplace entitled Drug-Free Workplace and the Impact of legalized Marijuana.  It will cover the 5 Points of the Drug Free Workplace Policy, the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act of 2020 and how it works with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Right to Privacy in the Workplace Act. 

The Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act of 2020 does not take away employers’ rights to conduct drug tests pursuant to substance abuse policies, in fact, it expressly preserves it. Come find out how!

Kelly Hildebrand has worked at KSB Hospital in the Corporate Health Services department for 19 years. She started at Corporate Health Services in the substance abuse testing department which has evolved from pre-employment testing to a full Substance Testing and Education facility. She has worked in many areas within Corporate Health Services, giving her many opportunities to learn and expand her knowledge of the occupational medicine world. She has been providing occupational education to KSB corporate clients for the past 12 years along with many other occupational services.
