When Domestic Violence Effects our Employees
This month's presentation will cover signs of potential abuse we may see in our employees, how to handle disclosures of abuse, and referral resources.
Our September presenter is Monique Engberg, who is one of the Legal and Medical Advocates for the YWCA of the Sauk Valley. She will be finished with her Master’s Degree in Psychology in 2021 with a focus on Mental Illness and Mental Health. Through her position at the YWCA, Monique is able to offer trainings to many organizations and agencies in the surrounding communities to help educate and bring to light the reality of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
