Topic: Reasonable Suspicion: Raising Awareness & Increaseing Workplace Safety
Overview: Mini workshop with presentation, involving discussion regarding current culture of substance use, and its impact on the workplace in the area of Retention, Recruitment and Workplace Safety. The presenter will make a case on why it's more important than ever to adhere, promote and hardwire a commitment to a Zero Tolerance Drug Free Workplace policy, and a culture of workplace safety.
Presenter : John Emmart, PsyD, MBA, SPHR has three decades of experiences working with employees with substance use issues in three difference vocations: Pastoral Care, Human Resources and Occupational Medicine. He holds credentials in EAP, HR (SPHR and SHRM-SCP), and is a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist. He is the Occupational Health & Wellness Specialist for Mercyhealth.
