On September 27, 2012 the Illinois Corporate Partners will hold their Employer Conference in Bloomington. The featured presenter will be The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Vice-President Mark Schmit, Ph.D. Mr. Schmit will discuss the recently released survey undertaken by the national SHRM organization in cooperation with Cornell University ILR School Employment and Disability Institute and is entitled “Effective Practices for Accessibility, Accommodations.” Mr. Schmit will also discuss SHRM’s program aimed at increasing the employment of people with disabilities.
